Liu Junqiang, born in Hulin City, Heilongjiang Province in Mar. 1965, received Bachelor*s and Master*s degrees of Education Science from the Education Department of Harbin Normal University and University of Canberra in 1986 and 2007 respectively. Now he is a Professor and master instructor and the vice president of SES, Harbin Normal University. His main research interest is teaching design and study resource development. Besides, he has published 7 academic works like Introduction to Educational Technology and 21 academic theses in journals like Audio-visual Education in China and Research on Audio-visual Education. His concurrent social posts include director of Professional Committee of Educational Management Informationization Affiliated to Chinese Education Development and Strategies Association

Li Xiaodong
Born in Zhaodong City, Heilongjiang Province in January of 1963, he received Bachelor*s degree of Science in Electronic Engineering from Computer Science Department, Harbin University of Science and Technology (Formally named as Harbin Science and Technology University) in 1984. He is now the dean of Department of Educational Technology, Professor and master instructor of SES with his main research interest in education informatization. In addition, he has published 4 academic works such as Fundamentals of Education Network Technology and Practice Course on Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) and 50 academic theses in journals like China*s Audio-visual Education. His concurrent social posts mainly include standing director of IT Committee of China*s Educational Technology Association and etc.

1. Principles of Teaching Theory

This orientation focuses on theoretical research of teaching fundamentals; basic theoretical research on teaching reform and experiment; research on methodology of teaching theory

2. Principles of Curricula Theory

This orientation focuses on theoretical research of curricula fundamentals; theoretical and practical research on curricula reform; research on methodology of curricula theory; curricula management and guidance.

3. Subject curricula and teaching theory It*s aimed to cultivate talents who can undertake scientific researches and teaching of Teaching Theories in various disciplines by focusing on the research of textbooks and teaching methods of elementary education in various disciplines.

Cultivation Objectives:

1. To be simple and kind, moderate, self-restrained, and introspective in personality; to be broadened minded and persevering in dealing with affairs; to be outstanding and independent, reasonable and self-disciplined, caring about the world, and good at both skills and theories.

2. To possess solid and extensive theoretical fundamentals and profound systematical professional knowledge and grasp the frontier dynamics of curricula and teaching development and the new theories in order to fit to the development of education in China.

3. To bear abilities of independently undertaking and study and solve the research subject of the theories and the frontier subjects; to be able to provide creative achievements; to acquire certain organizational and administrative abilities.

4. To master a foreign language; to bear abilities for writing and international communication in foreign language; to be able to independently carry out work in this subject and related fields.

School Period: masters need 3-6 years to acquire doctor degree while on-job doctorial students need at least 4 years to acquire doctor* s degree.

Credit Requirement:

The total credit for graduate is 22‵25 scores. And the specific scores of the repeated courses will not be incorporated into the minimum total credits.

3. Instructors

Zhao Heling
Zhao Heling, born in Mouping, Shandong Province in Feb. 1948, received Master*s degree from the Education Department of Harbin Normal University in 1986. He is now a Professor and doctor instructor of SES, Harbin Normal University and the director of Institute of Education Science as well as the dean of Heilongjiang High Schools Key Research Base of Liberal Arts, the foregoer of doctoral program on curricula and teaching theory in Heilongjiang Province, the leading person of the key subject 〞Heilongjiang curricula and teaching theory, standing director of national teaching theory professional committee association, director of the professional committee of Heilongjiang Curricula and Teaching Theory, deputy director of Heilongjiang Nationality Association. He has published 61 theses and 12 academic works, and attained 7 ministry- or provincial--level awards like First Prize of the Higher School Scientific Research Achievements (Human and Social Science) by Ministry of Education. In 2009, he was awarded ※Prize for Contribution on the Degree Construction§ in Harbin Normal University.

Wen Hengfu
Wen Hengfu, male, born in Yakeshi City of Inner Mongolia in July of 1961, received Master*s degree in Curricula and Teaching from Education Department, Harbin Normal University in1990 and Doctor*s degree of Education Science in Education Principles from Department of Education Sciences, Northeast Normal University in 2005. He is now a Professor and doctor instructor and the dean of SES. As a Doctor*s degree of Education Science, he is the foregoer of the first-level discipline and the leading person of Education Department with national professional characteristics and the head of two key provincial disciplines (group)〞 ※Educational Economy & Management§ and ※Education of Middle and Elementary School Teachers§ as well as a provincial-level distinguished teacher; he has presided 7 national and provincial education planning projects, and published 49 academic theses in newspapers like Studies on Education and 7 treatises such as Educational Leadership, compiled 12 works such as Frontier Issues on the Reform of Elementary Education, and achieved 5 educational accomplishments in state- and provincial-level. Besides, he is now the vice president of the Professional Committee of National Education Efficiency and School Improvement, standing director of the Branch of China Education Administration Association, president of Professional Committee of Education Major of Heilongjiang Education Association as well as vice president and secretary-general of Heilongjiang Tao Xingzhi Institute.

Jiang Jun
Jiang Jun, born in Qing*an County in Heilongjiang Province in Jul. 1965, received Bachelor*s degree of Science and Master*s degree of Education Science from the Chemistry Department and the Education Department of Harbin Normal University in 1986 and 1995 respectively, and Doctor*s degree of Education Science from the Public Education Institute, Moscow State University in 2007. Now he is a Professor, doctor instructor and the vice president in SES with his main research interest in comparative education, curricula and teaching theory.
